The government of West Bengal is
quite motivated to bring
industrialization to the state. The government wants the state to develop rapidly
with a series of domestic and foreign investments. An industrial summit was
recently organized in the country of Singapore where business leaders from
different parts of the world participated.
Malaysia based Scomi Engineering is one of the
leading companies as far as the global monorail sector is concerned. It has
already invested in globally recognized monorail projects and tied up with
industrialist Ghanshyam Sarda for investing in West
Bengal.
The Ghanshyam
Sarda Kolkata group is one of the leading industrial houses from the
state of West Bengal. It has already invested in several business like
petrochemical and education to name a few. But the monorail business is one of
the new commercial ventures from the group. As one of the top names from the
jute industry in West Bengal, the Sarda group wants to bring a change in the
investment scenario of the state.
The entire transportation system
in the state is all set to get a major facelift as a result of this
project. The total investment for the
project stands at 2,500 crores and the Sarda group is backing it completely.
The logistical support for the project is being provided by the Sarda group.
The youth of the state is looking forward to the project and wants it to
develop at the earliest. A number of employment opportunities will be generated
in the state as a result of this project.
