The government of West Bengal is
looking for new investments in the commercial sector. Several investments are
about to be made in the state and the chief minister of the state has taken a
noble initiative in this regard. West Bengal needs to compete with the other
states as far as industrial development is concerned.
Industrialist Ghanshyam Sarda has made
multiple number of investments in the state of West Bengal. He has already
established a great credential in the jute industry and also invested in some
of the sectors like petrochemicals, education etc. As one of the pioneers from
the industrial sector of West Bengal, the Sarda group has signed a monorail
project pact with Scomi Engineering, one of the leaders in the global monorail
business.
As one of the leading players in
the global monorail business, Scomi Engineering has completed various projects
in the cities of Kualalampur, Sao Paolo and Mumbai. The current chief minister of West Bengal
organized a recent industrial summit in the city of Singapore recently.
Recognized business leaders from around the globe participated in the event and
expressed their desire to work in the state.
As one of the leading names from
the global monorail sector, Scomi Engineering will take all the required
support from the Ghanshyam Sarda Kolkata group in
this regard. The total investment for the project stands at an amount of 2.500
crores and will showcase the name of the state to the outside world.
The project certainly has a lot
in store for the state. The youth of the
state are looking forward to the project very keenly as it will generate a
number of employment opportunities. The officials of the West Bengal government
met the representatives from Scomi Engineering and discussed all the issues
regarding the project.
