The city of Kolkata is preparing for a clean city drive campaign. With the initiative of the Lions Club International project, an able project for creating a difference to the image of the city has been taken. The Lions Club International is one of the top class and well recognized organizations from the city which organizes a variety of social and cultural events. The entire image of the city is set to undergo a transformation with such a superb project in place.
The Clean City Dream City is one of the coveted projects where a collective endevour is in place. Currently, the organization has a collection of 2,500 members and 60 clubs from the city are already a part of this huge venture. If an overall view at the garbage problem which affects the city is taken, a variety of facts are unfolded. In the city of Kolkata itself more than 5,732 tonnes of waste are produced at a regular basis. This garbage needs to be dumped accordingly so that the city remains free from all kinds of impurities. As per the activists who are working for the campaign, an impressive change can be brought to the city within a period of one year.
Ghanshyam Sarda one of the most popular business leaders from the city of Kolkata and quite actively supports this particular campaign. He also wants the city to remain free from all kinds of impurities and looks forward to an increase in project momentum.
