The city of Kolkata is all set to get a monorail project of international standards. Over the years, various development plans have been taken up in the city and the monorail project is slated to come up in the Rajarhat area. The Rajarhat area is one of the most highly commercial areas of the city and a full proof township has come up over there. With the current initiative of the chief minister of West Bengal, the state is looking out for various industrialization programs and the monorail project will certainly improve employment opportunities.
