A clean city drive of massive
scale is coming up in the city of Kolkata. With the Lions Club International
Clean City Dream City project, the entire image of the city is all set to get a
new makeover. It is one of the most recognized organizations in the city which
promotes a variety of social and cultural events. Over the years, it has earned
a very favorable reputation for organizing these events in a grand way. The clean city campaign which has been
planned in the city covers an amazing figure of 60 clubs and 2,500 members in
all. It is one of the most popular campaigns which aims to keep the city clean
from dirt and pollution.

more than 5,732 tonnes of waste is produced at
a regular basis. It is very important to keep the city clean from this
