summit was organized in the country of Singapore where industrial leaders from
different parts of the world participated.
As one of the pioneer business
tycoons from the state of West Bengal, Ghanshyam Sarda has invested in
several projects over the years. He has invested in a number of jute mill
projects and proved his ability as a businessman. A monorail project of grand
scale is all set to come up in the state of West Bengal and the Sarda group
will be a part of it. In the business summit which took place in the country of
Singapore, Malaysia based Scomi Engineering
participated. It is a globally
recognized company as far as design, development and implementation of monorail
projects are concerned.

Sarda Kolkata group wants to be a part of this monorail project and
make a mark in the transportation sector. As one of the pioneer groups from the
state of West Bengal, it will be its first foray in the urban transportation
sector. Scomi Engineering has already completed projects in some of the most
important cities like Sao Paolo, Mumbai and Singapore. The tie up between the
Sarda group and Scomi Engineering signals a new era in the field of urban
transportation in the state. It will
also generate sufficient opportunities of employment in the state.
