A monorail project in the state
of West Bengal is in the anvil. The chief minister of West Bengal is looking
for a massive industrialization drive in the state. A recent meeting was
planned in the country of Singapore where industrial leaders from different
parts of the world participated. The event was a grand success and many of the
leaders shared their ideas about investment in the state. A monorail project of
grand scale has been planned in the state of West Bengal and foreign investors
are quite interested about it.

in the monorail sector from the country of Malaysia wants to play a leading
role in the implementation of the project. The total investment for the project
stands at 2,500 crores.

monorail projects across the world Scomi Engineering has already completed
ventures in some of the cities like Kualalampur, Sao Paolo and Mumbai. The
Rajarhat Newtown area of West Bengal has been chosen as the possible venue for
the project. The entire transportation system in the city of Kolkata will get an
uplift through this project.
