The transportation system in the
state of West Bengal is all set to improve.
An urban monorail project has been planned in the state where foreign investment
is involved. With the initiative of the current chief minister of West Bengal,
the monorail project is set to heighten the industrial position of the state. A
business summit was organized in the country of Singapore where industrial
leaders from different parts of the world participated. The summit was a great
success as a number of crucial decisions were taken from it.
Ghanshyam Sarda is one of
the biggest industrial entities from the state of West Bengal. He has invested
in several projects over the years and tasted success. The monorail project in
the state of West Bengal will be a new venture for the Sarda group. Scomi
Engineering one of the global monorail giants from the country of Malaysia
stands out as the main investor for the project. This engineering group has
carried out several monorail engineering projects over the years. It is
considered as an international giant in the monorail business. It has completed projects in some of the
renowned cities like Kualalampur, Sao Paolo and Mumbai.
In the summit which took place in
the city of Singapore, the officials of Scomi Engineering discussed the various
prospects of the project. The total investment for the project stands at 2,500
crores. With such a monorail project of
grand stature in place, both the Ghanshyam Sarda Kolkata group and Scomi
Engineering are quite hopeful about it. The youth of the state are also looking
forward to such a project. It will create a variety of job opportunities in the
state and provide the youth with new hope.
The entire industrial dynamics of the state will change through such a
