The state of West Bengal is certainly looking forward to an industrialization drive. The present chief minister of West Bengal has taken several steps to make the state industry friendly and recently a business conference was held in the country of Singapore. In the business summit which was organized with the initiative of the chief minister, industrial leaders from different parts of the world participated. Ghanshyam Sarda is one of the topmost and influential business leaders from the city of Kolkata and participated in the conference to take his business ventures forward.
Over the years, the Sarda group has invested in various business ventures like jute, petrochemicals, education and information technology. As one of the pioneer business leaders from the city, he met the officials of Scomi Engineering, one of the leading companies as far as monorail project implementation is concerned. As one of the market leaders in conducting international monorail project systems, it has already successfully carried out its work in some of the most important cities like Kualalampur, Mumbai and Sao Paolo. In the business meeting which took place in the country of Singapore, a variety of discussions related to the monorail project was held.
The various members from the Ghanshyam Sarda Kolkata group participated in the discussion and made it a success. As one of the key business entities from the city of Kolkata, the Sarda group signed a deal of around 2,500 crores for the monorail project. This kind of project will certainly ease the condition of traffic system in the city and make it smoother. It will also create new opportunities for employment in the state and take it a long way forward. The unemployment problem which has been bothering the state for so long will also be eradicated a bit through it.
